Smells like ... the Runaways. And the Ramones. And Kiss. And and and ... so what if there isn't an original idea on this record? Songs like "Rock 'n' Roll Machine", "Gimme My Radio" and "Wanna Get Some Stuff" are the aboriginal sound of four authentic American teenage girls rawkin' out. And that - topped with a poppermost sense of songcraft (and a sweet-tart sense of humor) - is what makes this platter the ch-ch-cherrybombe.
