The Donnas " American Teenage Rock'n'Roll " Lookout

The Donnas is a group formed by four authentic feminine specimens of
the deepest America, its aspect does not leave place to doubts. But that is the one of
less when they are able to concentrate in less of half an hour ten authentic hymns of
rock'n'roll setentero, full of youthful impudence and rages premenstrual. Obvious they
have not discovered the powder, nor they are going away to turn into the new band breaker
of the USA, but if that can - and must have their hollow within the rockera scene with
those pegadizos subjects with regustillo to mythical the Runnaways, glam of Slade and
Sweet and to the refrains of first discs of the neoyorkinos Kiss. The perfect disc for
your celebration of High School, you do not doubt it.

The first work in long duration of the feminine quartet of High Wood
practically disappeared of the stores as soon as it left. Published in the very small seal
already disappeared Superteem, the company did not have money sufficient to reedit it and
the disc remained in the houses of the few lucky people who had been able it to buy. Now,
after the draftee of the Donnas by Lookout and the publication of its successful second
Lp, the seal has been decided to reedit this album in format previously CD next to the
three singles published by the band. Much more ramoniano which the second, the disc
breathes freshness and diversion by the four flanks, and the little skill of of its
members with the instruments is pardoned by the great dose of fresh air and espontaneidad
that these four emanate teenagers.
