Wish

Films That Came And Went And You Didn't
Christopher Nolan's Following sneaked into town 3 weeks
ago, started at the NuArt, hopped over to the Sunset 5, then straight
to the Monica 4-Plex for those wonderful $8 weekend morning screenings.
By the time you read this, it will be gone and you only have yourself
to blame. Bill is a struggling writer (as if there is any other
kind) who takes to following people to gain inspiration for his
characters, Along the way, he enters into a partnership with one
of the people he's trailed. Trust is forged, plans are made, and
Bill finds himself neck deep in the kind of love triangle that we
haven't seen since John Dahl's Red Rock West. Noir in its'
shadow- play, Following takes the old Hitchcock "innocent
man" theme and runs it through a morality tale meat grinder. Sound
interesting? It was and you missed it. Thank God for video stores.
