Son Of A Beach
In August, Fox announced that they were dumping, sorry, releasing
the latest God's gift to horny teenage girls, The Beach (starring
Leonardo DiCaprio) in January 2000. Fox spinmeisters (apparently
resting on its Episode One laurels) insist that opening the
Danny Boyle-directed film in January (typically the least attended
movie month) is not a critical reflection of the film's worth. However,
RTC now offers up a review of the movies released in January the
last 3 years and lets you be the judge.
