Anatomy Of An RTC Idea
RTC sees Albert Brooks' The Muse and wonders where our ideas come from. Here's a peek into the creative process.

1) Monkey says he wants to jump from an airplane someday. SK says, "You're nuts". Pants says, "That's stupid". Shorty just wants to know why.

2) Monkey claims to be influenced at an early age by the 1981 Treat Williams / Robert Duvall sky drop flick, The Pursuit of DB Cooper.

3) Pants says he much prefers Fandango as the proverbial scratch for his parachuting itch.

4) Useless trivia concerning sky diving movies pours out.

5) We write it, you read it.

Here is a list of our most memorable movies featuring people jumping out of planes. Before you criticize our taste for the inclusion of a certain Charlie Sheen movie, take note of the absence of both Operation: Dumbo Drop (why, Ray Liotta, why?) and Honeymoon in Vegas (nice try, Nic Cage).

11. Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom
10. Drop Zone
09. Terminal Velocity
08. Where Eagles Dare
07. Eraser
06. Fandango
05. Moonraker
04. Point Break
03. The Pursuit Of D.B. Cooper
02. The Great Muppet Caper
01. Dr. Strangelove

Random RTC Fact: The Tom Petty song, "Free Fallin'" appears on no less than 10 different albums, including the Jerry Maguire soundtrack and a Stevie Nicks cover on the hard-to-believe-it-even-exists soundtrack to TV's "Party Of Five".
