Love Is Never Having To Say You're Sorry
Writing a zine is not hard. Getting the facts right is. At least
for those outfits that are concerned about silly things like journalistic
integrity. RTC would like to take this space to right a few previous
wrongs. And we'd like it to be noted that while we have promptly
corrected our errors, OJ continues to look for the real killer.
In issue 5, PANTS encouraged you in his SAVAGE
STEVE HOLLAND tribute to go out and buy the E.G. Daily album
"Two of Hearts". Thanks to helpful e-mail, we'd like to correctly
point out that "Two of Hearts" was recorded by Stacey Q. We'd also
like to remind those readers that wrote in that the new Scritti
Politti album is now in stores.
Also in issue #5 (now believed to be The Cursed Issue), we hired
Encyclopedia Brown to track
down the true identity of the weird kid from Rushmore.
We are sorry to say that he failed. Perhaps we should have taken
into account that it is the year 2000 and he's still solving mysteries
of the Stolen Blue Ribbon and riddles of the Hall Monitor's lunchbag.
Thanks to the Criterion special edition of Rushmore, not
only do we know that the weird kid's name is Kyle Ryan Urquhart
and find out his character's name is Regis but we also get to see
him behind-the-scenes and hear his only line of dialogue in a Max
Fischer Players presentation of Armageddon. We apologize
for supplying you with erroneous info and plan to correct the real
problem as soon as we can get ol' Encyclopedia to climb down from
the treehouse.
We're not the only ones...
