1) RTC Contributer's Name?

THE LIP (oh my that double latte is finally kicking in, hence the caps)

2) What is the first movie that you remember seeing?

The Empire Strikes Back in big hair Jersey baby, Avalon to be exact. I was at the beach with my family and the Ford family, we all went to see it, and I fully believe the intense excitement of seeing that movie led directly to an obsessive and long-standing crush on the Ford's son Robert, who looked ever-so-slightly like Luke Skywalker.

3) If you were stuck on a desert island with one director, who whould you want it to be?

This is a crappy question Monkey, but I'll go with Jim Jarmusch simply for the Roberto Begnini scene in Night On Earth. Even if I hated Jim or he tired me, he must be pretty damn funny to do that scene.

4) What movie character do you most identify with?

My choices here are 1) sarcasm or 2) embarrassing honesty! Joy! Ok in this movie Beautiful Girls, she's the young girl (not one of the Beautiful Ones). Small part. You wouldn't remember her.

5) Favorite food to sneak into the movies? (Drink also applicable, you lushes.)

Well I felt like a total bad-ass when I smuggled in a bottle of $8 champagne and two crappy plastic cups into the back row during Gods And Monsters. What would have kicked it up the bad-ass scale? 1) Accidentally kicking it down the cement floor and hearing it clank all the way to the bottom. Angry audience stares. 2) Getting the champagne hiccups and then having those stifled hiccup laughs. Angry audience stares.

6) Barry Levinson's production company is named after his hometown, Denzel Washington's production company is named after the street he grew up on. If you had a production company, what would it be named?

7) Best movie soundtrack ever?

What the hell, I'm going to cheese way out and say Say Anything. I don't konw if there is any other song in that movie besides "In Your Eyes," but that is a Film Moment, when he holds the stereo up outside her house, see, here I go...

8) Favorite movie cliche?

Two good guys in an apartment/house. Murderer comes in. Murderer wounds/almost kills/puts in a coma one good guy and goes after the second good guy. Murderer ALMOST kills remaining good guy, but at the VERY LAST SECOND, the almost dead/badly wounded/formerly comatose or sedated good guy (with no reason to be a good shot) saves the day with expertly-placed bullet to heart of Murderer. (Recently seen also on The Practice.)

9) Last movie that made you cry?

Life Is Beautiful
