What We Reap, We Sow
Nostalgia, like fashion, is a cycle destined to repeat itself until
any possible derivable pleasure has been wrung out of it. The world
of film is no different. Producers gain "inspiration"
from box office charts from twenty years ago. Here are some examples
of recent films and the films that "inspired" them. See
how much of the flavor gets lost in the updating process.
Jaws (1975)
